Jay grew up in a home-building family which has fueled his interest in the business for more than 25 years. His love for bringing a home to life for his clients has been a mission of his from the beginning. Jay’s collaborative and communicative approach has kept homeowners and design teams coming back again and again. The most gratifying part of his work has been fostering a family environment for his team.
Hobbies: His interests outside the office are centered around his wife and two kids. Coaching his kids' sports, skiing, golfing, traveling and anything outdoors keeps him and his family on the move!

The majority of our projects are high-end remodels and new construction. Communication, attention to detail, and quality of work are extremely important. This is a “bags-on” position, but you must also be able to manage a small crew, trades, and interact professionally with homeowners. We are looking for a Site Superintendent who has the ability to work with a tool belt on while running a jobsite.
The Site Superintendent is the project’s lead point of contact and management in the field. They are responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, directing, and controlling the daily operations of a construction site. They will serve as the liaison between the onsite personnel, including LCG employees and trade contractors, and the Project Manager. They should be a strong leader and display the qualities and integrity that LCG stands for.
The Superintendent will work with the Project Manager to meet the project’s schedule and budget. The Superintendent will monitor progress and quality as well as answer questions that may arise from trade contractors.

A project manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, relationships, and closure of a project. They are our client representative and need to align expectations of the client and the project. They are the bridging gap between the production team and client. This requires exceptional written and verbal communications skills. They are adept at troubleshooting and problem solving. They are committed to an open philosophy of communication, growth, integrity, customer service, and teamwork. Maintaining clear communications, efficiencies, and forethought are crucial to the project’s success.
A project manager is responsible for the project budget and schedule which includes a thorough knowledge of the project scope for each budget line item and completion of the work within that budget and the project’s schedule. There are multiple projects in various stages at any given time so making sure to look ahead of schedules is crucial to allow availability for other projects. A project manager should have and also develop strong relationships with the trades.
In summary, a project manager is the person responsible for leading a project from its inception to completion. This includes planning, scheduling, maintaining approved budget, project execution, and managing the people, resources and scope of the project. The project manager has full responsibility and authority to complete the assigned project within the budget. They also may participate in marketing and networking events.
