Woodway Project

Organic textures and natural wood tones combined with warm custom cabinetry and finishes made this 4,200-square-foot full home remodel the ultimate modern, open concept farmhouse. A large custom, white oak front door offers the first statement piece upon entering. The homeowners are a family with young children who wanted to create a fun, open concept floor plan for endless entertaining, in conjunction with very functional spaces and amenities. That included a main floor office, primary suite, mudroom storage and lockers, and Control4 system offering a customizable smart home solution to automate and control the homes technical devices.

A 10-foot island and large custom hood are the focal points of the kitchen for everyday use and entertainment. The warm palette of materials used throughout the home is accentuated by the excess of natural light coming through the newly updated single mullion style windows. Entertaining is a breeze with a 15-foot LaCantina folding door and countertop flip window opening to the upper deck. The arched, glass-encased wine wall creates an elegant bottle storage for wine lovers. The backyard is a dream for the active family with a built-in gas fire pit, sport court, and updated outdoor shed.
